Toki Pona is a language created by Sonja Lang. It has a very small vocabulary, making it easy to understand other people even if you lack context, because they’re describing the thing when they talk about it. It’s a very neat language, and I’ve collected some links about it here!

The official website, with links to the books.

A website with a lot of cool stuff, but the link is to a page that transliterates stuff into proper nouns.

A grammar guide.

A searchable dictionary.

A video series explaining the vocabulary and grammar.

A grammar and vocabulary guide with exercises.

A vocabulary memorization game. It also teaches the sitelen pona glyphs.

The anki deck I use.

A choose-your-own-adventure novel that is designed to help the reader learn toki pona and sitelen pona.

I recommend finding or creating a deck with your flashcard app (or paper) of choice. It helps a lot, as does doing the exercises. Learning from different sources is useful because they all define things slightly differently, giving you a broader sense of what each word means.
